Sunday Preview 12.16.18
This Sunday at Cornerstone Church...
Since the Fall, the world had been waiting. Since the calling of Abraham, a people had been waiting. As time passed, more revelation of the promised Messiah-Redeemer was unveiled. Many were captured by other things, but God preserved a remnant who kept waiting. Finally, in the virgin birth, the Redeemer arrived. He is “a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to (His) people Israel” (Luke 2:32). He came bringing “salvation” (v. 30) and “redemption” (v. 38). We are privileged to look back upon the fulfillment of these promises, and to look forward to the consummation of the ages through the Second Advent of Jesus Christ. What a blessing to live in a time to rejoice in the salvation provided, and to anticipate the completion of God’s unstoppable designs!
Sunday Songs
Each week we'll include a list of songs we plan to sing during our time of corporate worship. We hope this helps you prepare for our Sunday gatherings.
