Attending a church for the first time can be intimidating, so we want to help make your first experience at Cornerstone a great one!
When are services?
We start our Sunday mornings by meeting at 10:00 for our main weekly service, where we worship through singing, praying, giving, and listening to God's Word. This service typically lasts about 75 minutes. We close out the Lord's Day by meeting again in the evening at 6:00 for The Gospel Project, an age-based program of Christ-centered Bible study. To help reset our focus in the middle of our busy weeks, we also gather on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 for a time of Bible study and prayer.
Where do you meet?
Cornerstone is located at 550 Cowesett Rd in Warwick, Rhode Island. Click here for directions.
What about my family/children?
We provide a caring, safe nursery during all services for little ones 0-4 years old. On Sunday mornings, children ages 4 years to the 5th grade start the service with their families before leaving for enriching kids' classes after our time of corporate singing (read more about our kids' programs here). Our young people in 6th-12th grades remain in our Sunday morning service, but also have their own group meetings on Wednesday evenings. You can learn more about that here.
What is your music like?
Our music is a mix of songs, both old and new. Some songs you might recognize. Others may be less familiar. Hopefully, you'll get a glimpse of God and the gospel of His grace in all of them.
What should I wear?
Dress in whatever clothes you feel are appropriate. Some like to wear their "Sunday best". Others take a more casual approach. There is no dress code. Just come.
