This Sunday at Cornerstone Church...

Humility is much easier to talk about than demonstrate. The church has been called to illustrate the gospel in the real world. But in order for the gospel to be on display, our own rights and preferences cannot be our primary objective. As we observe the humility of our Savior, we see a key to true gospel demonstration: emptying ourselves. The Lord Jesus divested Himself of His divine glories and prerogatives during His earthly life, resulting in His ultimate exaltation as the Lord of all. As believers, when we divest ourselves of our fleshly impulses and humbly walk in the Spirit, we display the very mind of Christ. This is our mission! Join us this Sunday as we continue our study of the book of Philippians.
