This Sunday at Cornerstone Church...

There are increasing concerns over people’s safety. Our world presents us with a variety of dangers, and yet, there is one danger that trumps the rest. Dwelling in opposition to God is the most perilous condition in which a person can reside. For in opposition to God, there is a definite end in physical death (which we all face), and a certainty of eternal judgment. Everyone lives in this danger of death, but God has provided a place of safety in Himself. Through the life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God’s wrath against our sin has been permanently abated, and He has provided in Himself a safe, eternal dwelling place. Have you run to the Lord for refuge? Jesus told us that those who come to God for refuge will not be turned away. Join us this Sunday as we worship the Lord in fellowship, song, study of God’s Word, and participation in the Lord’s Supper.
