This Sunday at Cornerstone Church...

Approaching the worship of God should be with great awe. Solomon begins to dive into one of the threads he has woven into the fabric of Ecclesiastes: the fear of God. Essentially, he will tell us to listen with awe (v. 1), speak with awe (vv. 2-3), commit ourselves with awe (vv. 4-6), and live with awe (v. 7). We should ensure the we are always aware that we are living out our lives in the presence of the God who rightly rules over all things. This concept was the guiding principle of our Savior as He fulfilled His eternal purpose, resulting in His redeeming act of yielding His life up as the payment for our sin. Join us as we reverently worship God in the study of Ecclesiastes 5:1-7.
