Sunday Preview 11.11.18

This Sunday at Cornerstone Church...

"Hide it under a bushel? No!" Evangelical churches know that believers are called to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. We know that "the fields are white for harvest" (John 4:35). We are thoroughly informed about the commission given to the followers of Jesus Christ to go and "make disciples" (Matt. 28:19). But knowing and doing are not the same. It is essential to know that we are called to carry out the "ministry of reconciliation" (2 Cor. 5:18). We must also be convinced of the fruitfulness associated with preaching and living the gospel (Col. 1:5-6). When we remember that "salvation belongs to the Lord" (Jonah 2:9), we can be unleashed to share the gospel freely knowing that God will prosper His word (Isa. 55:11). Sometimes, the proclamation of the gospel is a sweet aroma, and sometimes it is a fragrance of death (2 Cor. 2:15-16). Join us Sunday as we worship the God who saves and consider His call for the church to proclaim the saving message of the gospel.

Sunday Songs

Each week we'll include a list of songs we plan to sing during our time of corporate worship. We hope this helps you prepare for our Sunday gatherings.
